Elementary GDP Awareness Training (Half a day)
This course has been especially designed to fulfil the GDP training needs of personnel working within a GDP environment, but not requiring an intensive training course. As it is now a legal requirement for all members of personnel who are involved with licensed medicinal products to receive GDP training, this course, with a traceable certificate, fits the bill perfectly.
From Directors to Purchasing & Sales Staff to all Warehouse Personnel – anyone who is involved with licensed medicinal products needs to receive GDP training.
Covering all of the GDP guidelines, it provides everything you need to know – Warehousing, management review & responsibilities, temperature mapping & monitoring, recognising falsified/counterfeit medicines, customer & supplier checks, documentation requirements, how to write a simple risk assessment et cetera. No previous knowledge or experience required.

The Role of the Responsible Person (incorporating Gold Standard) – 2 day training
An intensive, practical, two day training course covering the role of the RP, and all of the Good Distribution Practice Guidelines, as interpreted in the Green Guide 2017, and in the Gold Standard. The Gold Standard has been written by Cogent and approved by the MHRA, and the expectation is that all RPs and deputy RPs will have been appropriately trained.
This course will provide a down-to-earth approach to the requirements of the RP – providing in depth Good Distribution Practice knowledge and specific RP training, covering all of the sections of the Gold Standard as well as the Code of Practice The Responsible Person for GDP.
This course is suitable for all RPs, deputy or trainee RPs.
The GDP guidelines require that training is “demonstrably effective” and there will be a multi-choice test at the end of the course (with opportunity to re-take if the required pass mark is not initially achieved). Individual, traceable training certificates are provided.
Our trainers are Consultant RPs, registered with the MHRA, and constantly attending MHRA WDA inspections. The trainers will be available throughout the day to offer individual advice, and will be happy to provide email follow up if required.
